In 2004 i wanted to document LAByrinth Theater Company members so i brought a box of props to our two week Summer Intensive in upstate NY … my idea was for them to sign their name on the chalkboard with the year they became a member, choose ONE prop from the box then create a character for me to photograph late at night in my bedroom … but of course when there’s drinking + highly creative minds involved, my ONE prop idea completely flew out the window and the project morphed into something far more insane than i could ever have imagined!
